Where the Story Began

In the spring of 2019, Right at Home Realty added new branches to its growing brokerage when the company acquired Your Choice Realty. Expanding into Barrie, Ontario. As the gateway to cottage country, coupled with the recent trend of the younger demographic moving further from the core of the GTA seeking affordable housing, made Barrie a great fit.

In just a few short years, Canada's largest independent real estate brokerage has made an immediate impact on the Barrie real estate industry. In 2021, the new office was ranked as one of the top 3 real estate offices for listings and sellings combined in the entire Barrie region*. This year thus far, the brokerage continues to grow across Ontario.

Getting to Know our Barrie Branch

The Barrie office at 684 Veterans Drive in Unit 1 is located across the lot from Barrie & District Association of Realtors®. Simcoe County is known for being the gateway to beautiful cottage country and Barrie for its small-town feel with all the opportunities of a major city. A spectacular area for raising a family and starting a business.

The branch is run by Assistant Manager, Robin Lepine and overseen by Barrie and Newmarket Area Manager, Paulo Simoes. They have over 25 years of combined experience in real estate and sales. Originally from the Simcoe area, our Assistant Manager, Robin Lepine, has fond memories of spending her summers on the beach in Tiny and completing Highschool in Midland. Robin started her Real estate career in 2008 in Calgary, before moving back to Ontario to join Right at Home Realty’s Toronto Central Branch as a Branch Administrator in 2013. While earning her real estate license and Broker’s designation, her passion for real estate and helping agents grew and made her successful in forming connections with our agents. So, when the opportunity to move back to the Simcoe region and join our Barrie Team as Assistant Manager came up, she was excited to help make the Barrie branch one of the fastest-growing brokerages in Barrie!

Grand Opening Event

Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, the branch was unable to host a grand opening event to showcase its big reveal of the new office to the Barrie region. As a result of restrictions easing across the country, Right at Home Realty was able to host a grand reveal on June 2^nd, 2022.

The wonderful celebration was open to all Right at Home Realty agents to tour the office space. Members of our executive leadership in attendance included John Lusink, President of Right at Home Realty, and Julie Kee, Broker of Record and General Manager, Brokerage Operations.

As well as some special guests, the acting Mayor of Barrie, Barry Ward and a representative for MP John Brassard. Robin Lepine and our executive leadership members are so honoured and pleased to have been able to celebrate this opening of our new office and look forward to our bright future with all our Right at Home Realty Barrie family.
