JOHN LUSINK

President

John is President at Right at Home Realty. With more than 36 years of experience in the real estate industry, John's background includes an award-winning commercial real estate sales career, management of corporate offices for one of Canada’s iconic real estate brands as well as ownership of a major residential real estate franchise. Recently named a 2022 RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker for his significant contributions to the industry, he is an active participant in organized real estate both as a past Director on The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) for six years and, most recently, as the Commercial Director on the 2018 OREA Board of Directors. While at TRREB, he served as the chairman of the Government Relations Committee for two years and was most recently Chair of the Finance Committee.

JULIE KEE

Broker of Record and General Manager, Brokerage Operations

Julie joined the company in 2018 as Branch Manager, Durham and quickly distinguished herself by growing the Durham branch and facilitating the expansion into Port Perry. Her career in real estate spans over 19 years and includes considerable success as a sales person completing over 100 transactions a year for several years, agent training and coaching, ownership and management of a brokerage as well as the role of standard forms specialist at The Ontario Real Estate Association.

Julie is responsible for overseeing the operation of all branches with particular emphasis on supporting the branch managers in achieving the strategic growth targets, implementation of best practices for administrative processes and the continued development of RAHR’s culture of success, support and teamwork.

SANJEEV PATEL

Senior Vice President, Finance

Sanjeev joined Right at Home as Vice President Finance in 2020 and in his role is responsible for the company’s overall financial strategy and managing the areas of financial reporting, treasury, taxation, and providing financial support and analysis to the business to meet its goals. Sanjeev has previously held senior financial roles in various industries including financial services, technology, manufacturing and distribution. He has had an opportunity to work with high-growth companies listed on the TSX and Nasdaq exchanges as well as with private owner-managed organizations. Sanjeev holds a BBA degree from the University of Toronto and has also received his Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant designation from the Province of Ontario.

DEBRA HARRIS

Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth

Debra brings several decades of experience in the real estate industry and a deep understanding of brokerage dynamics to the leadership team. Her career spans a multitude of roles showcasing her expertise in marketing, public relations, and business development consulting.

Debra has been instrumental in elevating top-producing real estate teams across both Canada and the United States. A Certified Behavioural Analyst, Debra has provided DISC consulting and coaching to brokerage teams and sales professionals. For more than fifteen years she was an integral part of a national real estate brand’s corporate brokerage team in leadership and executive roles. Debra’s passion for developing and implementing highly effective strategies is foundational to her propelling organizations to new levels of success.

SCOTT MACPHERSON

Vice President, Agent Success

Scott’s career has been focused on training, and for the past 21 years, he’s specialized in adult learning and soft skills training. Before entering into real estate, Scott was the manager of training, communications and change management for a major department store retailer with 200 plus stores across Canada.

Scott attained his Realtor® license more than 8 years ago and worked as the director of training for three affiliated real estate companies in both Canada and the USA.

Scott now leads the Right at Home Academy, which provides relevant, high-impact, in-house training to our members.

WHITNEY BINNS

Director, Communications and Public Relations

Whitney brings over a decade of communications leadership in private, public, and non-profit sectors to the role of Director of Communications and Public Relations. She is a results-driven leader with a proven track record in strategic communications planning, project management, and delivering award-winning multi-channel campaigns.

With previous roles at the Ontario Real Estate Association and leading organizations in the healthcare sector, Whitney excels in building brand awareness, driving engagement, and fostering key relationships with stakeholders, media, and partners. Whitney holds a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University, a Public Relations Certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Toronto. She combines her expertise with a commitment to professional growth and inclusion.

RIMA STERRETT

Senior Risk Manager, Legal & Compliance

An experienced corporate and real estate legal professional in both the public and private sectors, Rima has over 21 years of experience in the capacity of manager, paralegal with nationally and globally recognized corporations. 

With a proven track record for driving successful profitability through collaborative negotiations and alternative dispute resolution on various real estate matters, her focus is to assist members of Right at Home Realty by providing industry-leading support for their real estate businesses contributes to the expansion and development of the company as a whole.

MARINA JERKOVIC

Director, Pre-Construction

Marina brings 26 years of real estate sales experience including 10 years of successfully building and growing pre-construction divisions in mid-sized brokerages. She has worked diligently to set the foundation for our Pre-Construction Department and provides our agents with all the tools, resources, and exclusive opportunities they need to succeed. Marina was a top salesperson for highly acclaimed pre-construction developers. She also coached hundreds of new and seasoned agents to grow their pre-construction businesses.
